Jesus – The Ultimate Superhero
How He saved the world. A Facebook post, as captioned above, caught my attention and led me down a thought-provoking path. It highlighted the parallels between heroic figures, such as Jesus, also the superheroes we see in pop culture. Traditional superheroes rescue individuals from accidents and crises. Jesus, however, stands out as the ultimate superhero because He saves us from our sins by dying for us.
The Ordinary Nature of Heroes
- Unassuming Beginnings: Have you ever noticed that many superheroes begin as ordinary, even unassuming individuals? A prime example is Superman, who masquerades as a journalist and wears glasses.
